Programme Acquisition is responsible for ensuring that Channel 5's channels continue to be home to the most distinctive and entertaining purchased drama, comedy, reality and film.

Channel 5's enviable reputation in this area has been built around great US programmes such as CSI franchise, The Mentalist, NCIS, Justified and Sons of Anarchy as well as around well-loved movies like Hancock, 300, High School Musical 3, Finding Nemo, Rambo and Death Race.

Digital Channels

5* is Channel 5's young, 16-34 general entertainment channel. Fun, optimistic and aspirational, 5* is enthusiastic and relevant with its mix of drama, comedy, films and entertainment. 5* programming mix includes both acquired and original commissioned series.
