THE GREAT CHRISTMAS TOY GIVEAWAY
This Christmas, Littlewoods are sponsoring a Channel 5 TV event to kick-start the festive season.
Hosted by Myleene Klass and presenter duo Sam and Mark ‘The Great Christmas Toy Giveaway’ will be a two hour extravaganza full of celebrity guests, surprises, musical acts and best of all a colossal load of toys and games to be won by someone watching at home. Set in a Christmas Grotto studio Myleene, Sam and Mark will be joined by children of all ages and celebrity guests, including Union J, EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy, Mark Wright, and Jeff Brazier, who have been road-testing many of the toys on sale this Christmas.
From bikes and scooters, to cuddly animals and board games, viewers will also be in with the chance of winning a sleigh full of toys – many of which will be featured on the show. In addition to the prize pile a HUGE donation will be delivered to a top UK charity, helping to make a magical Christmas for those who really need it.
Greg Barnett, Commissioning Editor: Entertainment, Daytime & Soaps says “This show is the perfect way to kick-start Christmas – it’s a festive, fun-filled two hours of telly featuring fantastic kids, great guests and sack loads of surprises – and who better than Myleene, Sam and Mark to guide us through the mayhem?”

Channel 5 launched as Britain's fifth terrestrial broadcaster in March 1997 and bought by Northern & Shell in July 2010 and it currently attracts well over 42 million viewers a month. We deliver programmes that combine creative flair and popular appeal. We continue to bring our viewers a mix of smart new shows that sit alongside popular long running series. Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother are now well established in the schedule – and stripped of any pretentiousness about “social experiments” are focused on real life entertainment. They sit alongside ratings stalwarts like Eddie Stobart: Trucks and Trailers and The Hotel Inspector. We acquire the best of international drama – Wentworth Prison, Under the Dome, Person of Interest, Castle, Body of Proof and The Walking Dead, CSI, Law & Order, The Mentalist and NCIS. Aussie soaps Neighbours and Home & Away continue to delight. For sports fans Channel 5 is the terrestrial home of all England Cricket summer Internationals and regular world title boxing.
