Abby Cadabby flies into the milkshake! studio live with Jen Pringle on Friday 10th August

Channel 5 is delighted to announce that Abby Cadabby from Abby’s Flying Fairy School will be live in the milkshake! studio on Friday 10th August for Abby’s Fairy Friday.

Abby will be flying all the way from Sesame Street to join presenter Jen Pringle for lots of fun and surprises as they celebrate Abby’s Flying Fairy School being shown 7 days a week on milkshake!

Sesame Street favourite Abby will be helping Jen read out emails, show birthday cards and pictures as well as joining in with plenty of singing and dancing. Viewers will also have a chance to get twinkle thinking in order to win some fantastic Abby goodies in her very own competition.

In Abby’s Flying Fairy School, the series follows Sesame Street’s well-loved Abby Cadabby, and an eclectic gang of new friends – including genies, trolls, giants, imps and a pet ‘gerbilcorn’ called Niblet. The show marks the first time a Sesame Street character has been transformed into CGI animation and is an innovative and exciting development in children’s television.

Jessica Symons, Head of Children’s, Channel 5 milkshake!, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Abby in to the milkshake! studio, being such a well-loved character we have no doubt that her visit will be an exciting and special day for our audience.”

Abby Cadabby comments: "I cannot wait to meet Ms Jen and hear from all the Kids in the UK. Elmo has told me he had such a good time when he visited milkshake! and I'm looking forward to making new friends on my trip."

Watch Abby Cadabby live on Channel 5’s milkshake! on Friday 10th August for ‘Abby’s Fairy Friday’!
