Like a narrator telling a story, AD is an additional commentary describing body language, expressions and movements on TV programmes. It allwas you to hear what you might not be able to see so you don't miss a thing.
How do I receive Audio Description?
To watch TV programmes with Audio Description you must be able to receive digital TV. When looking for equipment you should be aware that not all digital TV receivers allow you to use AD. If you need any advice before buying equipment call the Audio Description Helpline or visit the website.
