We are seeking a highly organised individual with a background in Broadcast Programme Planning. The Programme Planning Executive will assist the Scheduling and Planning department with a wide range of responsibilities crucial to the maintenance and distribution of the programme schedules.

The objective of this role is to deliver first-class digital projects, on time and to budget, through an in-depth knowledge of planning and supplier management, working across all elements of the project (e.g. design, development, editorial, commercial, technology) and all phases of the product lifecycle (e.g. discovery, implementation, testing, launch, in-life). Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Manager will operate within a core product and technology team, supported by a wide number of external partner suppliers, in line with the department’s philosophy of best-of-breed outsourcing. The role is highly autonomous and multi-faceted, comprising traditional disciplines of Product Owner, Business Analyst and Project Manager.

Project Management Executive  ( 211 kb )  Project Management Executive

The core purpose of the role is to assist the Project Manager (PM) and the wider partnerships team in the project management and execution of partnership campaigns once they have been agreed by the Marketing Partnerships team. The PME will assist the Project Manager in representing Channel 5 / Northern & Shell with regards to all specific deals they are managing. Whilst the PME role will largely will commence at the point a deal has been agreed and the contract has been drawn up, they will also be responsible for assisting the Sponsorship Manager in producing and delivering specific marketing material related to sponsorship opportunities. Partnership elements can include sponsorship, bespoke spot / airtime, promotions, print (includes liaising with the N&S display team), online, branded content, talent and product placement.
